A Liturgy for Entering Your Bed

Father, as I enter my bed, remind me who you are.

You are compassionate, just, and glorious. May I reflect on your goodness as I drift to sleep.

Jesus, as I pull the covers over myself, remind me who you are.

You are the way, the truth, and the life by which I gain access to the Father. Help me to rest in the hope found in you.

Holy Spirit, as I lay my head on my pillow, remind me who you are.

You are my teacher, my guide, and my gift. Comfort me tonight.

Amen.
